KGM UK
Aim: To create a series of lifestyle assets for KGM UK’s flagship vehicle, Rexton.
KGM UK is a renowned automotive distributor and retailer specialising in a wide range of high-quality vehicles, including off-road, luxury, and commercial models. With a focus on delivering exceptional customer service and innovative solutions, KGM UK has established itself as a key player in the UK automotive market. The brand is committed to offering vehicles that blend performance, reliability, and cutting-edge technology, ensuring that every customer’s needs are met, whether for personal or business purposes.
The Rexton is a rugged, versatile 4×4 SUV from KGM UK that combines robust off-road capabilities with modern, stylish features. Known for its impressive towing capacity and solid performance across challenging terrains, the Rexton caters to both adventure enthusiasts and those seeking a reliable family vehicle. With advanced safety features, a spacious interior, and a strong, durable frame, the Rexton provides an optimal blend of comfort and capability. It’s ideal for those who need a vehicle that can handle a variety of driving conditions, whether on or off the road.
Production
The KGM Rexton has been on sale in the UK for some time now, so it was due some new marketing material to be used by KGM UK’s head office over the course of 2025, implementing a unique strategy for the assets.
Head office requested some lifestyle photography and a promotional video that could be cut up to be used for shorter format on social media. With this brief, we decided that the best course action would be to film and photograph a lot of the content at Elan Valley as it serves as the perfect backdrop for the rugged and dependable nature of the Rexton – do to the fact is is vast open countryside.
However, urban content was also needed, and as such, the little Victorian town of Llandrindod Wells was perfect for what we needed – due to the fact that the town is situated in the heart of Wales and doesn’t quite have the busy and bustling nature of a large city. This meant that we had a lovely setting and somewhere that would allow us to keep the car parked at the side of the road whilst we filmed what we needed to film.
Perhaps the best part of the video though, is the fact that it is sectionalised. There are multiple key demographics and highlights of the Rexton combined into one video. The benefit of this is that it is exactly what KGM wanted and needed, a series of short clips that can be used on socials rolled into one promotional video.
