Penrhos Court boasts a collection of grade 2* listed buildings dating back to the 13th century, with subsequent additions and renovations spanning several centuries. These historic walls have witnessed a rich tapestry of events throughout the years. One notable chapter occurred in 1975 when the iconic rock band Queen spent three weeks rehearsing their legendary hit “Bohemian Rhapsody” for their album “A Night At The Opera.” Additionally, in 1977, Monty Python star and writer Terry Jones established a microbrewery in the former cattle byre at Penrhos Court, playing a pivotal role in the British microbrewing revolution. Adding to the cultural heritage, musician Mike Oldfield, renowned for his masterpiece “Tubular Bells,” was a familiar sight, often found strumming his guitar by the grand inglenook fireplace, exchanging his music for the simple pleasure of red wine. This rich history, combined with the breathtaking vistas of the Herefordshire countryside, imbues Penrhos Court with a unique and captivating charm.

In addition to its historical significance, Penrhos Court offers an array of modern amenities and attractions. The estate features the esteemed Cattle Shed cafe/restaurant, where guests can savor delectable cuisine amidst the rustic ambiance of the countryside. For those seeking a cozy retreat, the Pythons Arms pub provides a warm and inviting atmosphere to enjoy a refreshing pint or unwind by the fireside. Furthermore, Penrhos Court offers beautifully appointed holiday cottages, providing guests with a luxurious and comfortable haven amidst the idyllic surroundings. Whether indulging in gourmet dining, socialising at the local pub, or enjoying a tranquil getaway in the holiday cottages, Penrhos Court offers an unforgettable experience steeped in history and charm.

At Penrhos Court, we embarked on a comprehensive production endeavour aimed at capturing the essence of their unique offerings and showcasing them to a wider audience. With a focus on visual storytelling, our team set out to create a series of captivating photographs and a promotional video that would highlight the charm and character of this historic estate.

Our first task was to capture a series of photographs that would showcase each of Penrhos Court’s unique offerings. Utilising our expertise in photography and graphic design, we crafted visually stunning images overlaid with captivating graphics, perfect for use in digital adverts. Each photograph was carefully composed to highlight the rustic ambiance and distinct features of the estate, enticing viewers to explore further.

In addition to the photography, we were tasked with creating a promotional video that would provide viewers with an immersive glimpse into the world of Penrhos Court. Filmed in breathtaking 4K resolution, we employed a range of professional equipment including drones, lighting, and microphones to capture every detail with precision and clarity. Our goal was to transport viewers to the heart of Penrhos Court, allowing them to experience its beauty firsthand.

To infuse the promotional video with a sense of intimacy and authenticity, we took a personalised narrative approach. We conducted interviews with Mark, a key figure at Penrhos Court, asking him a series of questions that shed light on the estate’s history, amenities, and unique charm. By seamlessly integrating Mark’s insights with footage of the grounds and amenities, we created an engaging and beautiful video that truly captured the essence of Penrhos Court’s rustic charm.

Through our comprehensive production efforts, we aimed to showcase Penrhos Court as a premier destination for weddings, events, and getaways, inviting viewers to experience the timeless elegance and natural beauty of this historic estate firsthand.
