Aim: To create a library of press images plus a short form video for the Skywell BE11.

Skywell UK, a recent entrant into the UK electric vehicle market, represents the global expansion of the Chinese EV brand Skywell. Known for their commitment to eco-friendly innovation, Skywell has been producing electric vehicles with a vision of creating efficient, zero-emission transportation. The BE11, their flagship vehicle in the UK, exemplifies this ambition with advanced technology, performance-focused design, and sustainable materials.

The BE11 is a fully electric SUV, merging spaciousness and practicality with Skywell’s futuristic design ethos. It’s equipped with features that align with the needs of UK drivers, emphasising long-range capability, safety, and comfort. In addition to these specs, the BE11 highlights Skywell’s efforts to advance battery and charging technology, allowing it to stay competitive in an evolving market. With its stylish profile, the BE11 has the aesthetic appeal and functionality to capture attention within the growing electric SUV market.

The introduction of Skywell vehicles in the UK is facilitated by Innovation Automotive, the official importer responsible for adapting these models to meet UK standards and expectations. As a key partner for Skywell, Innovation Automotive is instrumental in bringing the BE11 to UK consumers, ensuring a seamless integration into the local EV landscape. This collaboration represents an exciting expansion for both companies, and Skywell UK’s strategic entry aligns with the UK’s increasing shift toward electrification.

Production

Innovation Automotive reached out to us for this project after our successful collaboration on capturing assets for the Seres 3. The objective was clear: to create a versatile, high-quality library of images for the new Skywell BE11, intended for their website, brochures, and press materials. The production spanned over two days, starting with a Grey BE11 set against the picturesque backdrop of Bristol’s harbour. The next day, a Blue BE11 was captured in Cheltenham’s vibrant city centre, allowing for a rich contrast in location styles and emphasising the vehicle’s adaptability to various settings.

One of the project highlights was the opportunity to shoot both vehicles together, creating cohesive and dynamic shots that would stand out in any marketing material. We focused on meticulously crafted “hero” shots that would encapsulate the BE11’s personality and sleek design. Each shot was approached with precision, ensuring that every detail, from the curves of the body to the texture of the interior, was captured accurately. Post-production involved detailed editing, refining each image to perfection, and bringing out the unique character of the BE11. This attention to detail provided Innovation Automotive with a comprehensive visual portfolio that elevates the BE11’s appeal for the UK audience.
